Essay Outline

-Throughout the length of time, humans have been writing, reading and passing on information. It’s a continuous cycle that allows us, as a race, to exchange knowledge and ideas, constantly improving so that our society as a whole can grow.
-What books give us.
-How books affect our society.

-My story.
-Mom telling me to read.
-emphasis on hating reading.
-Became something I loved.
-Growing up with that passion and its effect on me.
-How it changed me.
-Life, Expanding creativity
-The system
-Is what we are doing the right way of doing things
-Reading brings different ideas to the table
-breaking out of the box, passing on/sharing ideas
-Writing it down for others to share and think about

    Your outline reads much like an informative, so although you raise some great points, be sure you're substantially arguing your claim. Why is there argument over this topic? What does the opposing side say?

    Your paper should be free of personal bias and opinions. One thing to note is to make sure that you are not inserting opinions or personal stories, as the paper is not about you. It needs to be backed by research, data, and sources that support, and oppose, the claim.

    Because of the structure of your outline, there is some confusion to the flow of your ideas in general. You're really going to want to organize your thoughts in a clear, concise way. Right now, it seems more of a brainstorm than a specific outline, to me.
